The canopy bed is having a MOMENT right now! And so I had to hunt down all the best modern and affordable canopy beds the internet has to offer for you.
Recently, my Pinterest and Instagram has been blowing up with tons of bedroom inspo and the canopy bed makes such a chic statement without being too over the top. The modern canopy bed is understated with clean lines. Done right, it’s a subtle but powerful way to bring interest and balance into your bedroom space.
So if you’re in the midst of designing or re-designing a bedroom, choosing the right bed can be a challenge! It’s certainly not something you want to cheap out on since you’ll be using it on the reg. But you definitely don’t want to overspend either.
I understand the struggle! So I scoured the internet for only the top-rated, but budget friendly options out there. Most of these options are canopy beds under $1000, and some are even less! Anything over $2000 and I’d say save your money, you can find plenty under that price range that is highly rated and looks modern.

Although it’s hard to find wood canopy beds under $1000, I found some great ones. But even though this is an under $1000 option, it requires a little DIY since it’s not stained! However, you can stain it how you want and you are good to go! Also you’re supporting a small business.

Buying a bed from Amazon?! It’s okay, I promise. Home Depot sells this exact bed too if that makes you feel better. But Amazon has more size and color options. Also it’s highly rated!

So if gold isn’t your style, this bed also comes in other colors too. But I love the simplicity and clean lines of this affordable canopy bed!
6. Feminine White Canopy Bed from Amazon
This bed is so classy and feminine! And it is very highly rated on Amazon. Also a great option for a teen girl’s room!
7. Black Metal Canopy Bed with Headboard and Footboard from Birch Lane
So this one is sneakily my favorite! Also it comes in white. And I love the paneled headboard. It gives it a bit of a modern farmhouse vibe. Also it’s highly rated!

LOVING this option. And the price is amazing. Also, I know, buying a bed from Walmart sounds scary! But, that’s why I was sure to only choose one with lots of high ratings! Plus the brand (Baxton Studios) is sold in many other stores as well!

So this a great option for modern spaces and transitional spaces alike. And the neutral bronze color is so chic too. Also this bed has great ratings and looks amazing in any space!
